CSY 33 Midships Cleats?

I want to add midships cleats to my 33, and I know Rhapsody added some; anyone else?

Yes, through bolted..This is not an Irving.

Position the cleats far enough inboard so you can get a washer, or even better, a fender washer underneath.

The position should be the "fattest" part of the hull.

The picture should give you the best guide.

Other CSY 33s have done it a bit different..Will post pics in a day or two.

Yeah, that is kind of a strange set-up, but the previous owner on this boat did a few strange things and if it worked for him...  :-\\

Rhapsody does have plenty more cleats that was not factory and I will post more pics later..Right now too dark to shoot pictures.

Being in the 'cane-belt, one can not have too many cleats.
Same when docking in Bimini with the current running strong twice a day and the docked boat being exposed to idiot power boaters who does not understand "no-wake" zone.
More cleats is better..

Ya, I'm in the same boat of sorts - lots of 'interesting ideas' implemented on mine, but some are truly great.

You've got cleats on the transom too, and I really like those - are those through-bolted too?  :P

I really do intend to steal many of your ideas; you've done a fabulous job with Rhapsody.

Yup, everything is thru-bolted.
The previous owner installed most of the extra cleats, I did a couple myself.

More cleats.

The cleats on the teak coaming were added by previous owner.

the 2 cleats behind the inner forestay I installed, the Starboard one for the 5/16 HT anchor chain and the Port cleat for 3/4" nylon anchor line.
Also note the Starboard anchor roller is nylon for the chain and the Port roller is SS and polished smooth for "no chafe" on the anchor line.

And yes, everything is though-bolted..(In case somebody is a bit dense..  ;D )
