Trim tab on a CSY 44 Pilothouse rudder
« on: November 01, 2021, 05:46:11 pm »
Hi all:
I am the happy new owner of Emerald Dragon, CSY 44 Pilothouse.
However, this boat has a very large turning radius!
There is a molded trim tab on the stb trailing edge of the rudder.
Is this normal???
I have pictures on my phone, and can try to send them if anyone wants to see.
If this is unique, I'm ready to grind it off!
Any change in close quarters handling would be an improvement.
Thanks:  Rob (glad to be here!)

Hi again:
If someone can tell me that my rudder was originally symmetrical in section I will happily make it so again!  Thanks:  Rob
