SINCE 2011 I have owned a CSY 33; basically gave away my discovery 37 to take posession of this vessel
Have not sailed much and live aboad (sleep mostly) but did some interesting modifications
Like some years ago I cut out the entire cockpit along the seats and raised it 8 inches creating lots of below deck space ( could have made a small berth )
Also that previous very low (useless space in the kitchen) now 14 inch tall
Yes I had to extend the bronze rudder shaft with a 1/4inch sleeve 316 and milled stainless shaft to meet the rudder height
Also much easier to get to the rudder mechanisms whjich had rusted out
