PSS shaft seal in CSY 37

Hello All
Am deep into a refit of a Hurricane Irma survivor here on St Thomas of a 1980 CSY 37. Have replaced the Perkins with a rebuilt and am using a PSS shaft seal. Once shaft coupling is on and alignment completed, I will need to reach the seal to compress the bellows and tighten the set screws on the rotor. Tranny and V- drive will be in the way.
Will I have access to do this?
Anyone on this forum have a similar experience?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Bob, I own CSY37B JAZZ 1978 with 4107 Westerbeke.  When my PSS Seal blew out I decided to replace with the old stand by stuffing box on the shaft. In order to install this we had to pull the tranny and V Drive to gain access. As far as adjustment I am going to get under mine soon and try and service/maintain without removing or moving the tranny and V Drive. I will let you know how it goes.
