CSY 33
« on: January 19, 2019, 01:05:07 PM »
A few months ago I fell in love with a CSY 33; it needed more work than I was advised was reasonable. Now, two other CSY 33's are available. I expect to see them in about two weeks. I expect to do offshore sailing mostly by myself. Am looking for comments about the boat, its ease of handling -- ie lifting the anchor should the windlass fail. Mainly looking for moral support. I have been looking at potential cruisers for six months and really want to get going....

There is also a CSY 37 available. Considering cost and handling, would you agree the 33 is my better choice?

I expect to get her going in a few months. She needs some bottom and rudder work. Always good to hear from you!

Ideas for an electric windlass are welcome. Thank you.
