Port Light Replacement - Galley
« on: April 02, 2017, 12:11:24 PM »
I am looking at replacing my rectangle stationary port-light in the galley on my CSY37b JAZZ.  This is the port that faces aft. I have a few questions for the group.
1. Does anyone have a new source for these ports I.e Newfoundmetals.com.
2. Does anyone have a source for a used one: exterior measurements: 20 1/2" long X 10 7/8" wide?
3. Has anyone replaced these before? If so any ideas to make  this a smooth transition?

Thanks......Peter   Phibbard@gmail.com

Peter,

I replaced mine with the Newfound Metal. Of course I cried at the price but it is a beautiful portlight and functions perfect. The other plus is Newfound are great people to deal with and stand behind the product.

I went with the New Found Metals port light. Should have installed soon and will provide pics. The folks at NFM were very helpful and provided everything to get the job done right.

Hello Peter,

Sounds like you made a good choice. If you go to compassmarine.com he has great instructions for installing the New Found ports.
