Introduction
« on: August 29, 2016, 10:59:26 AM »
Hello CSY Forum.  On our first contact with you we would like to introduce ourselves.  We are Ralph, and Cindy Di Pasquale on board our 1979 44 foot walkover Cutter, " The Adrienne Marie."  Our blue water sailing began in 1997 when we bought her.  Our time on board is usually four to six month of the year.  We have a very close family, and we do enjoy our time at home in the summer with our seven grandchildren.    Time is starting to catch with us, and we are determined enjoy what is left on our boat as much as possible.  Looking forward to meeting as many of you as we can.  Ralph and Cindy, signing off.

Welcome Ralph and Cindy! I wanted to let you know that we also have a Facebook group "CSY Owners", if you're active on FB. Do a search, and ask for an invite. This group is a great resource for in depth topics; whereas the FB group is good for quick info and pictures.

Cheers,
Dawn

Hi Ralph and Cindy,

Welcome to the forum!  If there's ever any way we can assist, please let us know.  If you cruise down my way in Miami Beach give us a shout.  Would love to meet other CSY owners!

Ralph and Cindy,

Welcome to the forum!!  You will find everyone here is friendly and helpful.  We ditch the "flame throwers" a long time ago.  The forum isn't as active as it used to be, but many old-timers are still hanging around and will give advice.  Also, the forum has a great search tool (the box in the upper right corner)--with it you can find lots of old discussions about stuff.

Note that we had forum crashes once or twice, and because of that, some of the threads only have the first line of what may have originally been a detailed post.  If you find one of those, I may be able to restore the content--just pm me with a link to the thread.  (we have about a ~4 month gap where we had no backups, and I can't restore those).

Hi Sherry,

Any chance you can restore this thread? It would be timely, since we're pulling Firefly out on Tuesday. Thanks!
