Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you currently use a stack pack on your mainsail.

Catching water on the foredeck of a CSY 44 is incredible! In a brief rain shower you can fill your tanks, take a bath and have water left over.

I don't know about the stack pack or sail pack.
I tried having a bad day once but I did not like it

Hi Bill,

We have a Doyle Stack Pack and it really makes life easier when dousing the sail.

Fortunately or unfortunately We have an older Profurl roller furler system that in mounted on the aft edge of the mast making it almost an internal furler. When it works it is very, very good. When it does not, its not so good. I replaced all the bearings in it last year, so it should be good for another ten years or so.
