The purpose of this board is to share information among owners, past owners, and future owners of CSY sailboats.  We also invite anyone in the sailing public who wishes to join, to contribute, as long as you follow the rules and standards of our board.

We expect everyone posting on this board to be polite and respectful, especially to newcomers. We expect you to refrain from any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, or sexually oriented content that violates our community standards. Doing so may lead to you being warned or permanently banned (and your service provider informed). Our decision is final in these matters. (The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions).

The webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic or post at any time, should they see fit. While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message.  If you see a message with  objectionable content, please use the 'Report' button at the bottom of the post to let us know about it.

As a user, understand that any information you have entered is being stored in a database. While we will not disclose this information to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

Advertising and Commercial Posts: This Discussion Board is a non-commercial board, with the exception of the Swap Meet Forum. The remainder of the Discussion Board exists for the exchange of information other than that in which a person has a financial interest. Advertising and spamming are not permitted on this Board. This includes using the Private Message (PM) system to sell to, solicit or spam other members. Vendors are welcome to participate here and often have a broad knowledge base in their respective fields that can be of great benefit to our members, but they shall not advertise or promote their own products and services. When commenting on a subject that relates to a product or service in which the vendor has an interest, the vendor shall acknowledge that relationship in his/her posts. If a vendor wishes to refer a Board member to promotional or commercial information, s/he may do so using signature lines. Signature lines may contain links, book titles, phone numbers and other promotional and commercial text. Signature lines are limited to four lines of text. Failure to abide by these rules will lead to removal of the post, a warning to the member, or the member permanently exluded.

All members, including vendors, are welcome to use our Flea Market Forum to advertise their products and services. Members who choose to use the Flea Market should remember that this is a public forum, open to the General Public and not exclusively the members of the CSY Owners group. If you use the Flea Market forum, you should assume there are no protections or resolution services provided to you by the CSY Owners group. It's a Cavaet Emptor world here, just as it is everywhere else.
