Jules -Since DropBox is essentially a folder on the web anyone with access can put anything in the folder. Therefore, DropBox is available through invitation only to keep spammers and others from mucking it up. I will send you out an invite to your email address that is on the site.

Also, Jules if you have any documents related to CSYs please feel free to drop them in the "New Contributions" folder on DropBox. I will move them to the proper folder. If you are sure of where the document should reside you can put the document directly into the proper folder. If you want to put a few pictures of your boat on DropBox you can make a new folder in the "Pictures" folder and add the pictures. It would be best if you used your boat name and the three digit hull number to identify these folders, e.g., CSY441080778 "Audra" would be in a folder "Audra 108"

Anyone else that wants to get into DropBox please send me (Peter Roach) a Private Message thorough the site and I will promptly send you out an invite.

Jules,

Unfortunately this site does not allow you to post full documents or high res pictures. We have had a discussion for a couple of years on developing a CD with all of the accumulated documents for the CSY. Think of this site as a CD only it is hosted on the web and anyone who has been invited can contribute.

We have loaded a number of documents that I had onto the site to get it started. Examples are:

Lots of graphics of the CSY logo
Perkins 4-154 manual
Crosby manual
Carpenter's certificate
Stability calculation spreadsheet
Brochures
A couple of articles and ads
Keel cut diagram
Construction specifications
Line drawings of CSYs

Dropbox allows you to add documents; however, it is not like this site. You can not post new entries or have a discussion. It is complementary in that if you have a discussion here that may need a few more pictures or better resolution pictures you can post them to DropBox. Hopefully everyone will start posting documents they might have on their computers so they can be shared with everyone else.
