Title: CSY 44 Pilot House keel water tank location
Post by: Fernweh on June 03, 2020, 12:41:41 pm
I have a 1978 CSY 44 Pilot House. I read that it may have a water tank in the keel but I can't find any evidence of one. Does anyone have one? If so, where does the plumbing go into it?

Thanks,

Hi John,
I'm not very familiar with the Pilot House design and can't say if it has a water tank near the keel.  However, I would start by tracing the fresh water supply pipe that feeds the pump.  On the Walk Over model, the tanks are built into the hull sides directly beneath the center cockpit.  It's different on the Walk Thru model, too.  Hopefully another P/H owner will respond... Good luck.

The last info I have on that boat was in 2010.  The boat was named Hellenic Spirit and the owner's name was Angelos Axiomakaros, based in St. Pete.  Sorry no contact info, but you may be able to find him online or in the Phone Book.

I know 2 other (former) PH owners.  If I can find email addresses for them, I'll PM you that info.  I don't think either is still active on this site.  You might also browse through this site:  http://memoryrose.blogspot.com/  and/or try to contact Ron Sheridan via that mechanism.
